CAULDRON CHARGED WITH PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS

Canadian heavy metal heroes CAULDRON have run into trouble with the law in
Toronto and have been charged with public drunkenness.

CAULDRON singer JASON DECAY explains how they kicked off 2009 in true metal
style: "Me and Chris just got hit up with public drunkenness charges for
drinking open liquor on King Street West... Kinda sucks, and there's no
criminal record, but we both got $125 dollar fines. This is no coincidence!
Oh, and we also wrote our new hit single tonite, "Don't Say That You Love
Me", to be featured on our new next album. Shit, what a good nite that got
shitty!"

Drummer CHRIS RITES states: "We were trying to be nice and co-operate 'cause
usually they just make you dump it out, but when they started writing up the
tickets I got pissed. I managed to contain myself though, 'cause I didn't
want to end up in the drunk tank again."

And the end result? JASON DECAY closes: "Well, I was gonna call in sick
today, but now I definitely have to go to work to pay off the ticket. My
big concern was making sure that this wouldn't affect our criminal records
when leaving the country. I tried to get rid of my bottle by throwing it on
the ground, but it ended up smashing and being even more noticeable. Chris
was keeping his tall in his pocket the whole time thinking that maybe he
wouldn't have to dump it out, but they turned their shit road on that too."

CAULDRON recently finished work on their debut album, CHAINED TO THE NITE.
Produced by IAN BLURTON and mixed by NEIL KERNON (DOKKEN, QUEENSRYCHE, JUDAS
PRIEST), CHAINED TO THE NITE was recorded in Toronto and proves that
traditional, true-to-the-roots heavy metal is once again on the rise.

Before the release of CHAINED TO THE NITE, CAULDRON will make their Earache
label debut on the upcoming HEAVY METAL KILLERS album - a compilation
featuring 13 new tracks from the very best bands of the emerging "New Wave
of Traditional Heavy Metal" scene.

HEAVY METAL KILLERS is due to be released on February 16th and will be
