Politically-charged punk rock trio WAKRAT (pronounced wôk•rat) are due to kick off the 'Make America Rage Again' tour tonight in Fairfax, Virginia with PROPHETS OF RAGE.
The tour features headliners PROPHETS OF RAGE - which includes RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE members Tom Morello, Tim Commerford and Brad Wilk alongside PUBLIC ENEMY's Chuck D and CYPRESS HILL's B-Real - with support from AWOLNATION and WAKRAT, where Commerford will be pulling double duty as the three-piece's vocalist and bassist.
WAKRAT recently claimed Parliament Square in London as their own independent sovereign state in an audacious protest against the political elite. The process was documented for the band's new music video, which opens with an iconic red double-decker bus driving around London with #GenerationFucked plastered on the side before descending on Parliament Square to make a bold statement on one of the most politically-charged patches of turf in the world.
